My OP ED piece last week that appeared in several papers talked about making sure that everyone has a seat at the table when discussing the minimum wage issue. The debate should be about how all can benefit from this proposed action. It needs input from all sides including those who represent the poor. Living shouldn’t just be about the numbers; it’s really about people.
Working together is always the best solution. Getting things done is best when everyone has a seat at the table. Healthy Partners still works today because everyone has skin in the game and all showed up to help others.
