Groundbreaking Dedication of Rancho Los Amigos Rehabilitation Center Expansion
I was honored to offer the blessing this morning for the groundbreaking dedication of Rancho Los Amigos Rehabilitation Center in Downey. Rancho is undergoing a $ 418 million renovation to construct a new wellness and aquatic therapy center, new outpatient facilities and inpatient expansion. These updates and expansion secure Rancho Los Amigos’ future as one of the top-ranked rehabilitation hospitals in the nation. Rancho is a very special place that gives hope and love and where miracles do happen everyday. They have always been great friends and not only in my district but were one of my founding partners in Healthy Downey ( great to see you Gilbert Salinas ). And of course THE champion of Rancho, Supervisor Don Knabe and Mayor Pro Tem Alex Saab ..This is the second $ 400 million dollar plus project happening in our City at the same time. Not too many cities can say that. Pretty cool morning.
